Director of XA at UVA
Pete and his wife Amy graduated from Southern Illinois University where they were both involved with Chi Alpha. After a year in St. Louis, God called them into Chi Alpha, so they quit their jobs and moved across the nation to train for ministry. They spent a year working with Chi Alpha at Georgetown University and then in 2000, moved to Charlottesville, VA to start Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at the University of Virginia. Pete and Amy are passionate about Jesus and helping students grow deeper in their walk with Christ! They have three wonderful children, Ian, Nevaeh, and Jeremiah!
National XA Field Director
Stefanie grew up in a loving, yet unchurched family, and had plans for a successful career in law. As a university student she encountered the reality, grace and truth of Christ. Stefanie was a few months away from entering law school when Jesus redirected her path to campus ministry. After serving for several years on campuses in California & Missouri, Stefanie moved to Washington, DC to develop campus ministry in the Northeast. Stefanie is currently serving as the first National Field Director for Chi Alpha Campus Ministries. Her passion is to see university students encounter the same grace and truth she discovered when she met Jesus, and to see these students scattered around the globe to represent Him well. She figures that if you spend your time loving God and loving others there's not much time for stuff that doesn't bring a smile to the face of God.
Director of XA at Fairmont State University
Matt Sprenger, a chemical engineering alumni of West Virginia University, has served as the Director of Chi Alpha at Fairmont State University for more than a decade after working in industry for 8 years. He’s married to Heather, his best friend, closest ally, love of his life, and the one who led him to Jesus. After 21 years of marriage, the best they have to show for it is 4 amazing kids who love Jesus - Glenna (17), Isaac (14), Evelyn (7), and Nathan (5). Matt was recently appointed to serve as Chi Alpha’s Northeast Area Director and would like to dispel a rumor: his goatee has no special powers…just normal ones.
